Income Inequality: Comparisons and Solutions

Profile 1: Female Hispanic 35-45 w/ Bachelors made 48,298
If the sex was changed to male they would make 16,306 more
If the race was changed to white they would make 9,061 more

Profile 2: Male Black 25-34 w/ High school made 27,483
If the race was changed to white they would make 8,150 more
If the sex was changed to female they would make 2,334 less

Profile 3: Female Black 16-24 w/ Some College made 19,575
If the sex was changed to male they would make 2,002 more
If the race was changed to white they would make 297 more

Possible Solutions to solving the inequality would be knowing the issues at hand, Stay informed, and take action in ways that you can, such as organize your workplace as a  AFL-CIO, start a MoveOn-style campaign, stand up for your rights, or just tell a friend.

I found that if you are a white male, you make the  most money, if you are a girl you make less, and if you are a minority even less. And obviously the amount of schooling you have effects your income as well. My major takeaways are that there are pointless inequalities in the work. If your doing the same job, age sex and race alone shouldn't dictate your pay.
